The Martabak Mamaku Story

It all began in the 1980s, Bu Bos' Mom and her aunt started selling the famous Martabak a.k.a Terang Bulan on the roadside of Surabaya (Indonesia's second largest city) Martabak actually originated from their hometown, Bangka Island. Both born and raised in Bangka Island, they brought the original recipe to the bustling city, creating a delicious legacy that has stood the test of time.

In the 1990s, they modified a pickup truck to sell the pancake to make ends meet. Their passion for their craft and commitment to their family's heritage kept them going, even in tough times..

As time passed, many others from different cities came up with their own versions and recipes, but our Martabak remains true to its roots. It is the original Terang Bulan from Bangka Island, with a unique texture and taste that sets it apart from other Indonesian martabaks sold in Singapore. Our dedication to preserving this traditional recipe is our way of sharing a piece of our heritage with you.

At indorica, we are proud to bring this unique taste to Singapore's culinary scene. Experience the taste of history with our authentic Martabak Bangka/Martabak Mamaku. Come and savor the flavors that have been passed down for generations!
