The Team

Pak Bos

The genius behind the delectable Indonesian food stall that has taken Singapore by storm! He's not your typical chef. He didn't attend any fancy culinary schools; he learned everything he knows from obsessively watching Masterchef from Season 1 as he is a fan. In a past life, Pak Bos was a basketball coach, but he's since traded in his whistle for a spatula, and his once-fit body has now taken on a more "cuddly" appearance. But, what sets Pak Bos apart from the rest is his love for people. He's a natural conversationalist and if you're lucky enough to catch him when it's not too busy, he'll chat with you for hours on end.

Bu Bos

While Pak Bos is busy whipping up culinary magic, she's the one in charge of all the back-end stuff. And let's not forget her background in design and marketing! She has a Bachelor of Design from Australia, and she's not afraid to use her creative talents to make the stall stand out. With her artistic flair, she's the yin to Pak Bos's yang.

The one thing you don't want to do is call her "auntie." If you want to stay on her good side, (and avoid getting the dreaded auntie glare), if you see her at the stall, just remember to call her Jie Jie or big sister. Jie Jie, you're the best!

Let me tell you about our resident dragon slayer- small but mighty, she's got a sword in her tongue that could cut through a steel pot when it comes to keeping our food quality top-notch. But don't let that intimidate you - when everything's running smoothly, she's all smiles and jokes. She takes her work seriously and always tries her best to help out the stall, going above and beyond like a superhero in an apron. She'll go the extra mile and take responsibility for her role as supervisor, making sure everything's running like a Michelin-starred restaurant. Just make sure you don't get on her bad side - she can unleash her inner fierce catwoman faster than you can say "spicy sambal". All jokes aside, she's definitely an essential part of our team to keep the stall operations running well together with the rest of the staff.

She's the Assistant Chef here at our stall and she's a force to be reckoned with. She's been cooking since she was a teenager and even won awards from hotels in Malaysia - so you know she's the real deal. She's affectionately known as Mak Ketam (which means "Mother Crab") because she's got so many hands to take care of everything. She can cook up a storm! She's like a kitchen wizard, able to whip up multiple dishes at the same time without breaking a sweat. She's under direct training of Pak Bos to ensure that every dish that comes out of our stall is consistently delicious.

The Spice Girls

These three met at our stall and quickly became the bestest of friends. They cook together, they lepak (hang out) together, and they even get scolded together by Pak Bos (our resident quality control expert). But despite all the scolding (and trust us, there's a lot of it), they've been with us from the very beginning just like one big, happy, dysfunctional family here at the stall. these ladies have come a long way. We're so proud of the progress they've made and the confidence they've gained as they whip up some of the tastiest Indonesian cuisine you'll ever try.
